The PLE200 Pig Intelligent Health Tracking System pioneers a new era of intelligent breeding. It reconstructs swine breeding management through cutting-edge IoT integration and proprietary data processing technology. This all-in-one IoT solution digitizes the full swine health cycle, addressing core industry pain points such as missed or delayed disease alerts, and unlocking data-driven efficiency for modern pig farms.
At the heart of the system lies the revolutionary smart ear tag, equipped with high-performance sensors and semiconductor components: multi-channel temperature sensors, 3-axis motion sensors, Hall sensors, BLE 5.X modules, LED positioning indicators, and optional RFID functionality. Paired with Wi-Fi/cellular gateways for ambient temperature & humidity monitoring, the ear tag leverages AIT’s proprietary TempSync™ Edge Calibration Algorithm—a breakthrough edge computing technology. The on-tag microprocessor eliminates environmental interference and filters short-term temperature fluctuations caused by pig ear movement, delivering medical-grade data precision. Beyond temperature calibration, this advanced algorithm interprets motion sensor data to accurately identify 7 key pig postures and behaviors, including standing, lying down, feeding, kneeling, and walking—converting raw sensor data into actionable behavioral insights.
Built-in on-tag storage guarantees data reliability, retaining edge-processed data for up to 4 days. Data is transmitted to the gateway every 30 minutes. If Bluetooth connectivity is temporarily lost, the ear tag automatically caches all data locally and resumes full transmission once the link recovers, ensuring zero loss of health data.
The gateway acts as a robust connectivity hub, enabling seamless BLE 5.X communication with ear tags. Equipped with dual Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity, it securely forwards aggregated data to the cloud. It supports up to 150 concurrently connected ear tags with a maximum coverage distance of 100 meters (adjustable based on farm layout and environmental conditions).
The system’s predictive capability is powered by the PigInsight™ AI Analytics Engine, our cloud intelligence platform. It processes calibrated body temperature data and behavioral insights to deliver real-time early warnings of potential illnesses.
